Effective August 15, 2012, you may be eligible to file for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) if you arrived in the U.S. before the age of 16 and you meet other USCIS criteria.
Qualifying for DACA may allow you to be eligible for employment authorization, establish legal residency, and obtain a social security number.
