John Wilson is President and Partner of GoffWilson, P.A., a global immigration law firm. He is co-founder of the firm and his practice focuses exclusively on global immigration both inbound and outbound assisting employers, employees and families. Mr. Wilson has consistently been selected as one of the ‘Best Lawyers in America’ under the ‘Immigration Law’ category published by the National Polling Firm of Woodward-White.

Attorney Wilson has been practicing law for more than thirty years. He represents hundreds of employers, both large and small, in all industry sectors, including large healthcare organizations throughout the US, numerous multi-national companies, import/export businesses, international corporations transferring high tech, executive and managerial workers to the US, as well as colleges/ universities/secondary schools, the high tech industry and manufacturing businesses from all corners of the world. In his full-service practice he assists employers, employees, families and individuals. Attorney Wilson assists the medical community with nonimmigrant visas such as J-1, H-1B as well as J waivers, Conrad 30 waivers, National Interest Waivers and permanent residency applications. He has assisted clients with questions regarding NAFTA, and the import/export of goods. Attorney Wilson assists Medical Doctors as well as those in the allied health care field (RNs, PTs, OTs, Medical Technologists, Speech Pathologists and others). With his solid knowledge of business and immigration, Wilson is well prepared to help anyone with business immigration needs.

GoffWilson, P.A. also maintains an office in Paris, France from which he can assist clients with consular processing at the US consulate in Paris for immigrant and nonimmigrant visas as well as providing referrals and contacts in all matters relating to doing business in and/or immigration to France.

Some of Wilson’s past positions include an Adjunct Faculty position for the Graduate School of Business at Southern New Hampshire University, where he instructed Business, Government and the Environment, an Ethics course for MBA students. In addition, he has written numerous articles for publications over the years, such as the International Human Resources Journal. He also gives regular presentations to State, regional and national Human Resource Associations and private groups throughout New England regarding I-9/E Verify compliance and audits as well as immigration law generally.

Wilson is a member in good standing of the New Hampshire Bar Association and a member of the national American Immigration Lawyers Association and its New England Chapter. He currently serves as Commercial Counsel to France for the State of NH, the President and Chair of the Diversity Workforce Coalition, and the Diversity Director for the NH State Council for SHRM. Other active memberships include the New Hampshire International Trade Association and French-American Chamber of Commerce of New England.
